A water district is a legally tested structure that will ensure a well-maintained system for the long-term future of the Mesa Vista Estates irrigation system.

Our neighborhood irrigation system is worth saving!

It is a blessing: inexpensive canal water gushes from the ground, giving life to our lawns, trees, flowers and shrubs.

Why establish the Mesa Vista Estates Irrigation Water Delivery District?

• Our neighborhood irrigation pipes are aging. Leaks and worn-out gate valves in the past three years have been costly. Future repair costs are likely to increase.
• To prepare for costly future repairs, a small “bank” of money can be set aside to be spent when a repair is needed in a documented, regulated, and legal way.
• The average cost to each property in the Mesa Vista Estates IWDD would be around $100/year (larger properties might pay slightly more, smaller properties slightly less).
• If established, the cost will show up on each property owner’s annual county property tax.
• Not every property owner is interested in taking irrigation water,but every voice matters.
• Whether you choose to receive irrigation, or let the water pass through, the system of pipes runs beneath all of our properties and affects us all.
• A well-maintained system increases everyone’s property values.
